Join us for a Sudanese inspired still-life workshop lead by artist, Tasneem Elnayal at our Great Art Store in Hoxton. The workshop will involve drawing from observation with soft pastels. We encourage you to bring your own personal object/ornament to add to the still life to personalise your artwork.
The war in Sudan erupted on 15th April 2023. With over a year of destruction and there is currently around 7.2million displaced people and 24.8 million people in need of urgent care and attention. The war started with conflicts between two military groups, the RSF (Rapid Support Forces) and the SAF (Sudanese Armed Forces).
SAPA is a dedicated facility offering free medical care to internally displaced persons (IDPs) affected by the ongoing conflicts in the region. Serving patients primarily from nearby camps, SAPA Hospital stands as a beacon of hope and healing for the most vulnerable populations.
