To mark International Women’s Day, and celebrate the countless achievements of women around the world, Trapped in Zone One are hosting a special workshop with type artist Lana Hughes using Posca and I Love Art markers.
Lana will guide you in creating a unique type slogan artwork over a 3 step process: sketch, fill and outline.
Maximum capacity 10 people. This workshop is open to all ages and we advise to all attendees to arrive early and stay for the full duration to experience the full workshop process. Sign up on Eventbrite or through our Facebook page

About Lana
Lana Hughes is a London based artist specialising in hand-lettering, design and typographic illustration. In 2010 she completed a B.A (Hons) in Graphic Design at the University for the Creative Arts in Surrey, & upon graduating she lived and worked in London for several years before spending a year painting her way around Australia and South East Asia.
Lana has created works for clients including Stella Magazine, Quest, MOO, CAMRA, British Airways, Waitrose Cookery School, P&O Ferries, LinkedIn, Liberty of London, Southbank London, Studio Canal, London Zoo & Kiehl’s, to name a few. As well as becoming a published author in 2018, with the hand lettering book ‘Forty ways to write I Love You’.
