Plantae is the exhibition of the Society of Botanical Artists; exhibiting excellence in all art that is plant related. The Society brings together artists of national and international repute. As the forerunner of all other botanical societies our mission is to promote the skills of artists using a varied range of media who all excel in their ability to portray botanical forms in an accurate, unique or interesting way.
The exhibition of work by elected members and artists selected from open submission covers everything from botanical illustration to botanical art, jewellery to printmaking. 400 pieces of exquisite art will be shown at the Mall Galleries, London in June.
All artwork is for sale, as well as a variety of and folios (unframed originals) and specialist books.
