Woody Hegedus would like to invite GreatArt customers to be his models by setting up a fashion illustration salon our on front of house.
He will be creating portraits and fashion illustrations of those of you who wish to model and pose for him, as well as sketching from photographs, and making observational drawings of passers by.
“When I am not drawing from a model I draw people that I observe in the street and on public transport. My working style is quick and fluid and aims to captures the character of the subject in a spontaneous manner.
Whilst I have gained experience of drawing people in public spaces and at drawing sessions I have
yet to invite members of the public to model and draw. This residency at GreatArt will mark a transition for me, from being an artist who observes people discreetly into an artist who openly invites people to be drawn. In making my personal journey public I aim to inspire others to follow their own creative passions and the drawings I create will be a celebration of the individuality of the subjects.”
