“Outside the Lines,” is a solo exhibition by Canadian artist Dd Regalo that celebrates the unique and individual journeys we each take in life. Using words as a medium, Regalo conveys the chaos and beauty of forging your own way and breaking free from the expectations of others.
Central to the collection are the themes of embracing one’s unique self, trusting instincts and following the twists and turns that make life special. Each work of art is a poem in itself, inviting the viewer to consider the fragility of taking risks, as well as to reflect on their own journey and the choices they’ve made.

About The Artist
Dd Regalo is an emerging Canadian visual artist and poet living and working in London. His poetic text based works often combine abstract forms and words to create moments, as experienced by the viewer interpreting each piece. Working both in the studio and public space, you can often spot Regalo’s poetic verses around Central and East London. A large-scale mural is currently on view just down Kingsland Rd on Drysdale St. tunnel.
