London Drawing

London Drawing is one of the largest independent pop up life drawing companies in London.

They pride themselves on working with professional tutors to run well taught, affordable, innovative, imaginative and practical classes for all levels of ability.Their workshops include life drawing, painting, portraiture, creative anatomy, gesture, pastels and low-fi printmaking.

The backbone of their schedule of classes are tutored evening and daytime drop-in life drawing classes in a range of interesting arts venues across London, available 6 days a week throughout the year. They also run bespoke corporate and private classes in life drawing and creative team building.

London Drawing, best known for cutting edge drawing and performance events at Tate Modern, was set up in 2006 by artists Anne Noble-Partridge and David Price. “We have spent the past 10 years challenging preconceived ideas about drawing by creating ambitious, accessible and immersive drawing and performance events.” Over those 10 years they have collaborated with theatre companies such as Kneehigh Theatre and Theatre Adinfinitum, performance artists including Paul Kindersley and Le Fil, and major arts institutions and organisations such as Tate Modern, Battersea Arts Centre, National Gallery, Art Battle London, V&A, Barbican Gallery and RIBA.
At the core of everything that London Drawing does is the premise that everyone, no matter what their experience, can create strong, interesting work and think like an artist.

Join London Drawing this Autumn for an immersive creative drawing workshop based on the Goya Black Paintings at the fabulous Crypt Gallery, an intense evening of candle lit Shibari life drawing in one of London’s most atmospheric spaces and an epic night of competitive painting and performance in collaboration with Art Battle London at The Vaults.
