Escoda Brush Demonstration
Join us in London Shoreditch store on the 7th July for a demonstration of some of Escoda’s quality artists’ brushes.
Escoda have been making brushes for fine art since 1933, in a small town just outside of Barcelona, and believe that superior materials create a superior brush. They use only the finest of hairs and have an exclusive trademark ‘triple crimp’ design which consolidates and locks each hair in place for a permaney brush shape which actually increase the natural spring of the brush and its ability to retain the original form.
The Escoda brushes will be demonstrated by artist Tania Estevez, a London based painted and illustrator.
“I work mostly with traditional techniques, using watercolours, graphite, acrylics and ink to create representations of nature and body with conceptual and poetic ideas.
I spend my days painting and drawing, looking for inspiration in photography, people who surround me, light, shadows and nature.
My work often shows the female body and botanical elements, usually in a quiet and calm way.
When I am painting I am immersed in a different world without time, without anything else. Just the painting and me. And I think most of these feelings are reflected in my work.”

The demonstration will take place in our front of house area at GreatArt, 41-49 Kingsland Road, London, E2 8AG. We look forward to welcoming you along with Tania and the Escoda team!
